January is a quiet month for most but not us florists! St. Valentine's Day is just 6 weeks away from New Years so January is full of preparations for one of the busiest events in the flower calendar. I've been busy designing new products and photographing them for the website.
St Valentine's Day is a long-standing celebration which takes place on February 14th in honour of the Christian martyr, Saint Valentine of Rome, who died in AD 269. The day became first associated with romantic love in the 14th century, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. In the 18th-century in England, it became an occasion when couples declared their love for one another by giving flowers,confectionery, and greeting cards.

There's already lots of items available on the website for those of you who like to be extra organised. Valentine's Day is super busy so the amount of orders and delivery slots available are limited! Order early to avoid disappointment.

All the flower arrangements and bouquets are available to order online and can be delivered throughout Carlisle and the surrounding areas. Making it easy-peasy to impress your loved one this Valentine's Day!
There will also be gifts available to order online for delivery, including the Valentine's gift bundle which includes prosecco and the Valentine's gift hamper which includes a bottle of lager/cider/ale. These items will be added to the website when our license comes into effect at the start of Valentine's week.
