Happy New Year!
First of all I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for another year of support and custom. I appreciate each and every one of you who buy, recommend, like and share my business – it is greatly appreciated. I hope you're all enjoying the festive period – although it may be different to previous years.
As we look forward to 2022 I look back on 2021 which seemed to go by so quickly despite everything that was going on. I didn't start the year off quite as I imagined – not returning to work until 18th January after some of my nearest and dearest suffered severely with Covid. Thankfully all my customers and followers were very understanding and all the messages of concern were lovely.
Valentine's Day and Mother's Day were the busiest they've ever been, perhaps because we were still under restrictions and people couldn't visit as freely as they would wish. I'm looking forward to these two special occasions in 2022 with some brand new product for each!
2021 saw the installation of my brand new flower workshop! I think this was the most exciting thing that happened in my business this year. A bigger and better space to work in means my business can grow much more easily – and its much warmer in the winter months!!
Oopsie Daisy celebrated it's 6th Business Birthday in the Summer and I can't wait to see what the next few years will bring. Without my lovely customers I would not have got this far!
Although I didn't do as many weddings as other years due to restrictions earlier in the year and several postponements, the ones I did do meant so much to me. I always feel honoured to have a small part in someone's special day! 2022 is starting to get busy for wedding bookings so if you'd like to secure your date please get in touch!
This year I decided to create a dedicated Autumn range for the season which proved very popular with online orders. The autumn flowers were available from mid September until the end of November when they were switched to the selection of fresh Christmas Flowers which kept me busy right up until Christmas Eve along with countless holly and spruce wreaths.
I'd like to take this moment to wish you all a Happy New Year, I will be reopening on Wednesday 5th January for another fantastic year with the best customers!
